I was inspired to paint this piece because of the shadows on the road, the light on the distant trees, the varied field colors and of course the infamous deer in the area. This painting makes me feels as if I am in eastern WA pulled over on a country road watching the deer graze. I hope you find joy in this painting. If you observe close enough you will see the mark making I tend to bring into most of my paintings which are fun to find. I hope you enjoy exploring this piece.
