I was inspired to paint this piece from a camping trip I took with my mom on the St. Joe River in the beautiful state of Idaho. After a comical hillside fuel fill up in the town of Avery we traveled up Marble creek on a mountain road. The views were stunning and I was able to capture some photos of this location. Even though I painted this in the studio, it felt as if I was painting it on location. This was a truly memorable trip. I hope you enjoy exploring this piece as much as I enjoyed painting it.
