I was inspired to paint this piece based on my love of the ocean and its creatures. I had painted a similar painting and donated it for a work auction to help feed the homeless. It did well. The donated painting was named oceanic beauty. Fun fact: Adult male sea turtles have long thick tails and adult females have short stubby tails. I hope you enjoy the glass bead gel texture and exploring this piece.
Hand-painted by Krista Nelson on gallery wrapped canvas with archival materials for long-lasting beauty and durability.
The sides of this piece are painted black.
The artwork is signed, varnished, hanging hardware installed and ready to hang.
All artwork gets shipped or delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Custom float framing for this artwork can be made by Krista upon request. Please contact me if you are interested so we can discuss pricing, wood species and color.
